Prof Ramamonjisoa presents p4ges results to the International Association of Landscape Ecology meeting in Baltimore, USA

Earlier this year Prof Bruno Ramamonjisoa (p4ges lead from the University of Antananarivo) travelled to the US to present some of the key p4ges results to an international forum. Bruno’s presentation was titled: The role of stakeholder engagement in sustainable natural resources management.

He presented p4ge results quantifying the opportunity costs of conservation to local people and the challenges in ensuring that these costs are compensated. He then took this further by exploring how stakeholder engagement could overcome these challenges. His talk was very well received.
